Class 4

Welcome to Class 4. Our teacher is Mrs Forster - the other teacher  who works in our class is Mrs Crane; Miss Welch  is also our teaching assistant.

Our topic for the  Autumn  term is 'Britain Since 1948'.

Spellings are given out each Friday morning and children will be tested on those words the following Friday. Please make sure you have your spelling folder in school every Friday so you can record your weekly scores and collect your new lists.  Please also read make sure you read to an adult at home at least 3 times a week and ask the adult sign your reading record. Homework is given out on a Friday and is due in the following Wednesday. This will be a combination of online and paper based activities. If you are not able to do your homework, please come and see Mrs. Forster before the day it is due in.

Swimming for Year 5 only is on a Tuesday morning. Please make sure you have a costume/trunks, a swimming hat, towel and goggles for this lesson. Year 6 will have PE on a Tuesday afternoon and the full class also have PE  together on Friday afternoons. It is important that your full PE kit is in school at all times as during the winter months we may have to be more flexible with the time of PE lessons, depending on the weather!

We really enjoyed our RE day where we learned more about the Lord's Prayer and what it means. Have a look at the photos to see what we got up to.
