We hope that you are looking forward to your return to school. This year we have a new teacher joining the team, Miss Payne, who will be teaching you for the first half of the week. Miss Daines will continue to teach the second half of the week and Miss Welch will be with you all week!
Things may be a little different to how you remember them but we can all work together to help make our class run as smoothly as possible. We ask you to bring:
A set of pencil crayons in a small pencil case
Your own water bottle
Reading book and record
We will provide you with all other stationery that you might need e.g. pencil, ruler, rubber etc. Please be aware that space in the classroom is limited so try to bring just a small bag with the things that you need.
Our topic this term is 'Hunter-gathers to Gladiators'. We will be learning about a very long and interesting period of history spanning from the earliest Stone Age, through the Bronze Age and Iron Age to the time when the Romans invaded Britain. Do you know anything about the creature below?
Your PE lessons will be on Mondays (with Miss Payne) and Fridays (with Mr Samuels) so please make sure that your full PE kit is in school every week. As usual, we expect that long hair will be tied back for the lesson and any earrings removed by yourself.
Maths homework will be set on a Friday to be handed in by the following Friday. Spellings will also be set and tested on Fridays.
