Welcome to final week of Summer Term 1,
I can hardly believe we are in the last week of this half term.... but it's true. Well done to all of you who have worked so hard at home. Mrs Purkis and I both know how tricky it is for you to be away from your friends. We have really enjoyed reading your blogs and seeing pictures of all the things you have been doing. Please keep them coming!
To keep you busy this week, I have posted the last two sections of the Wreck of the Zanzibar on the VCR section of the Homeschooling page. Don't forget, you can access your own copy of the text and some questions about each section under the English tab. I have also put up some weather data from the Isles of Scilly and Derbyshire on the Coast section so you can have a go at drawing some graphs to compare the average rainfall , temperatures and sunshine hours of the Isles of Scilly and Derbyshire . Don't forget to think about the scale for your axis and to give your graphs a title!
There is also an art activity - drawing a schooner - so you can learn how to draw a boat like the Zanzibar. Look under the art tab below for more details and send me a photo of your drawings.
I have also put a series of fun science investigations on the science tab that you should enjoy doing. Take some photos and post on them on the blog so we can all see the wonderful results. My boys at home have really enjoyed doing them!
Keep smiling, keep washing your hand, keep safe !
Best wishes to you and your families.
Mrs Forster & Mrs Purkis
