Home Learning Week Beginning 15/11/21

This week we will be starting a new unit in English. We will be  focussing on Performance Poetry and will also cover Poetry within our class reading sessions.  Please see below for power points and PDFs taking  children through the learning and supporting sheets for recording.  

 

In maths, both year groups will continue our unit on multiplication and division.

Below, you will find links to teaching videos and then links to activity sheets and answers sheets . Please scroll through to the year group needed and if  work has already  been completed , please scroll to the next session. 

 

In science, we will continue our unit on 'States of Matter.' Lessons 3 and 4 are attached. 

 

You will find links to activities within our PSHE topic of 'Being Safe.'   

 

Lastly, please  continue to hear your children read and remember that TT  Rockstars is  ideal for the children to continue to build their knowledge and quick recall of times tables.

  • PSHE 'Being Safe' To continue on with our ‘Being Safe’ topic. We will be exploring ways to stay safe in the home and how to respond in an emergency situation. Explore the activities on the Red Cross website following the link below. These include: Spot the danger. Can you think of ways that those dangers could be made safe? Work through Power Point quiz. Power Point for calling 999. Transcript of child calling for help for Mum.
