Week ending 20th May
Here are some of the things we've been learning about in Class 2 this week:
- using our senses to do a science investigation
- using the story of Handa's surprise to help us with different English skills, including connectives, sequencing and writing a letter
- discovering more about Kenya's national park in geography
- Year 2s have been learning about the correct names for different body parts
We finished the week with a seaside day. Some of dressed up in summery clothes, pirate costumes and sea creature outfits. We did seaside maths, learned about how some animals stop getting sunburnt and did pirate yoga. We finished the day with an ice lolly!
