Breakfast Club

Breakfast club is   now available daily at Breadsall CE Primary.  The club opens at 7.30am  and breakfast is served until 8.15am. At 8.40am, staff will take the pupils in Breakfast club to join their class. The Breakfast Club Policy and  booking form can  be found below.  

Breakfast club  needs to be booked  by  a Thursday for the following week. Payment can be made by cash, childcare  vouchers and parent pay.  The cost is £4 per session. 

Early Bird Drop off is available  from 8.15am.  Please use the booking form below to book this service.  Early Bird Drop off needs to  be booked by a Thursday for the following week.  Payment can be made by cash or parentpay.  The cost for this  is £1 per session.

After-School Club

Since  January 2025, the  school offers an afterschool club  on site from 3.20 to 6.00pm daily. 

The club will be staffed by existing school staff on a rota over a week and so all adults supervising the sessions will be familiar to the children.

Our aim is to provide a relaxed and friendly environment where children are free to choose from a wide range of play-based activities and learning opportunities. Staff may have the time to listen to readers as part of the provision. All pupils will be expected to live up to the school’s values and to behave in a way that will keep them and others safe and happy, in accordance with the school’s behaviour policy. 

Following feedback from parents earlier in the term, there are a range of options available for parents to book for afterschool club care. These are:

• ‘Late Bird’ Short Stay session: This is available from 3.20pm to 3.45pm and costs £1 per child per session. Children need to be collected by 3.45pm or parents could be charged for an Option 1 session (see below).

• Option 1: 3.20 to 4.30pm: 1 hour and 10 minutes at a cost of £4

• Option 2: 3.20 to 5.00pm: 1 hour and 40 minutes at a cost of £6

• Option 3: 3.20 to 5.30pm: 2 hours and 10 minutes at a cost of £8

• Option 4: 3.20 to 6.00pm: 2 hours and 40 minutes at a cost of £10

• Options 5: 4.20pm to 6.00pm: I hour and 40 minutes at a cost of £6 per session. This offer can be to be used if your child is attending a different school club straight after school, eg, a booster group or sports club but then needs to go onto Afterschool Club.

A snack and drink will be served to pupils booked onto any session after 4.30pm. We will take account of each child’s special dietary needs. If your child requires a more substantial meal, we ask that you send a packed meal in for them and let the school office know that you have done so in order that they can inform the Afterschool Club Supervisor.

Parents are asked to book by Thursday each week for the following week using the Clubs section of Parentpay. Late bookings may be accepted with 24 hours’ notice, depending on staffing levels. Any bookings that are requested with less than 24 hours’ notice may be refused. Please phone the school on 01332 831328 if you need a last-minute booking. Similarly, parents/carers must notify the school office as soon as possible if their child is booked into After School Club, but care is no longer needed.

Parents/carers can make payment for all Afterschool Club sessions through the online payment system Parent Pay. Parents can also use childcare vouchers or the government’s tax-free childcare service to pay for After School Club – please talk to Mrs Crick in the school office if you need any help with this.
