Christian Values

This is the school's Religious Ethos statement (from Instrument of Governance 2022)

Recognising its historic foundation, the school will preserve its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with the Church at Parish and Diocesan level.

The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all its pupils.

Christian values are reflected in everything we do at Breadsall CE Primary School. We investigate a Christian values through collective worship and activities in class and Breadsall Church members also contribute to the values every Tuesday by leading a collective worship and running an after school club.

The school  celebrates all the main Christian festivals and leads services in Breadsall Church to share with parents and members of the community. The school also raises money for several nominated charities each year.
