Eco School

The school started to work towards an Eco School Award from September 2015. Over the year the pupils were involved in projects to reduce paper waste, food waste and food packaging in school. Mrs Forster led a workshop at the Derbyshire Eco School's Conference about these projects and many schools have now done similar projects.

 

In September 2016 the school gained the Silver Eco School Award. We are now working towards our green flag award.

 

In September 2018 the school gained the Green Flag Eco School Award. Well done to all involved - keep up the good work.

 

In September 2020 the school re-applied for its Green Flag Eco Flag again and  was successful.
