Class 3
The children in Class 3 work hard to build on the skills and knowledge gained in Art during their time in the EYFS and KS1. Concepts are revisited, vocabulary consolidated and widened, knowledge deepened and broadened and skills are further developed to encourage greater accuracy and independence and increase the variety of techniques, tools and materials used.
Art is interwoven into all areas of the curriculum - Maths and Literacy, ICT and DT, PSHE and Topic and the children in the class take great pride in both the progress they are making in their learning journey and their finished pieces of art, whether produced in school or as part of a home learning project.
