Class 4 really  enjoyed their Design & Technology unit on Seasonal Foods. Many children transferred the cooking skills they have developed at home into  our cooking sessions, whilst other pupils learned and practised brand new skills.


Tasting the finished dish was always the highlight of each lesson!


Design & Technology objectives covered:

* To understand and apply the principles of a healthy and varied diet 

* To prepare and cook a variety of predominantly savoury dishes using a range of cooking techniques

* To understand seasonality, and know where and how a variety of ingredients are grown, reared, caught and processed.
