In science, children will be finding out more about different animals, including humans. They will be able to name different body parts and explore our senses. They will find out more about what happens to our bodies as we grow (linked to PSHE). Later they will explore different animals and learn their names of them and the different groups such as mammal, amphibians and reptiles. They will also explore the reasons we should keep our bodies healthy and how we can do this through balanced diets and exercise.
