The school provides music tuition for violin, cello and piano. The lessons can be individual or with another child depending on your preference.
The lessons take place on a Monday morning with a specialist music teacher.

Whilst in Class 3, all pupils learn to play an instrument for one year paid for by the school which includes the loan of the appropriate instrument. These lessons are led by musicians from the Derbyshire Music Partnership.
In 2017 2018 pupils learnt to play the flute.
In 2019 2020, pupils learnt to play the ukulele.
