As a parent/carer you are automatically a member of the PTFA but we would be delighted if you would attend the meetings or volunteer to help in other ways. We have parents/carers helping in organising events, running the bar, sorting out refreshments and purchasing on the PTFA’s behalf gifts and prizes for various functions.
We raise about £4000 per year which is used at the School's discretion to purchase items that will benefit the pupils. Recent purchases include bibles for children, reading books for the bronze, silver and gold lists and all the plants seen around school. We also subsidise school trips and visitors and purchase items needed for extra-curricular activities.
We run a 100 club each year which when all the numbers are taken raises another £1000. This is a very easy way to help the PTFA funds and possibly win a prize! A number costs £19.50 per year. If you are lucky enough for your number to be picked in a weekly draw in front of the whole school you will win £10. Please contact the school office if you are interested.
