Welcome to Acorn class
Welcome back Acorns ! We hope you have had a wonderful break and we are looking forward to diving straight back into our learning.
Our topic this term will be 'Down on the Farm'. A more detailed parent overview can be found below.
Our class motto is 'Let's Play!'
We love learning through play, in Acorn class, learning is child led , creative and fun.
All children will need their PE kits in school for FRIDAY. We will be doing PE with Mr Grice, from the Amber Valley Schools Partnership. We will also be doing Tennis sessions on a Thursday until the May half term.
Reading books are changed on a Thursday. Please ensure books are in school every day as we will hear your children read in school. Children will initially bring home books with no words in. These are intended to help children build their language skills. Alongside these they will also be bringing home word cards to practise blending.
At the end of each week as summary will be posted to Tapestry where parents/carers can access photos.
