Welcome to Willows!
A happy Willow is a successful Willow, and our class motto is;
Your best is always enough.
A New Term
and a
New Academic Year!
We are looking forward to another great term of learning, growth, curiosity and fun!
Our new topic is the Geography-based
'Our Active Planet -
What Makes the Earth Angry?',
where we will be exploring volcanoes around the world, earthquakes and other natural disasters and asking the question, 'Why do people live near tectonic hazards?'
Our class books are 'King of the Cloud Forests', by Michael Morpurgo, 'Escape from Pompeii' by Cristina Balit and 'The Pebble in my Pocket' by Meredith Hooper, as well as a wonderful range of poetry, fiction and non-fiction texts to enrich and deepen our learning and engagement.
