Class 3 - Willow

Welcome to Willows!

A happy Willow is a successful Willow, and our class motto is;

Your best is always enough.

A New Term

- here comes Summer!

We are looking forward to another great term of learning, growth, curiosity and fun!

Our new topic is the Geography-based

'Rivers and the Derwent Valley',

where we will be exploring the journey of a river from source to mouth and consolidating our knowledge about the water cycle. We will also be studying our local area, the physical and human features that are around us and learning about what makes Derbyshire so great!

Our class book is the classic tale 'The Wind in the Willows' by Kenneth Grahame. We have a fabulous range of books linked to rivers (Geography), plants (Science) and feelings and emotions (PSHE) to enjoy in our reading sessions, as well as a wonderful range of poetry, fiction and non-fiction texts to enrich and deepen our learning and engagement.
