All children will use Power Maths to help them develop their maths skills.
Year 1 children will begin with numbers to 10 before moving onto addition and subtraction, then 2D and 3D shapes.
Year 2 children will begin with numbers to 100 before moving onto addition and subtraction, then exploring the properties of shapes.
The children will receive weekly mental maths quizzes and will continue to practise their times tables. Please help your child to practise their 2, 5 and 10 times tables, and also 3 and 11 times tables for Year 2 children.
